Our story began in Dunoon, Scotland, in 1974, with a simple ambition: to create quality mugs that combined original designs with shapes people would love to use.
More than 50 years later, that ambition remains at the heart of our family business. Across three generations, we’ve continued to develop our range while keeping craftsmanship, creativity and everyday enjoyment at its centre.
Finding our Home in Staffordshire
In 1982, we opened our pottery in Stone, Staffordshire, placing Dunoon in the heart of England’s ceramics industry.
It’s here that our fine bone china mugs take shape, using traditional hand-casting methods and the skills of experienced craftspeople.
From forming each piece to checking the finished mug, care at every stage helps us achieve the quality we’re proud to put our name to.
